I’m a former liberal who was mugged by reality. Becuase I used to fervently believe positions that are the opposite of those I hold now, I think I have a unique perspective on liberalism and leftism.

I’ve been a businessman for 26 years and that experience greatly influences how I see the world.  That said, I have many interests outside of business. I love to paint and draw and I was going to be an art major but my mother (may her memory be eternal) convinced me to enter business school.  Thank God.  I am an avid theater goer in my hometown of Chicago and I recently took up guitar.  I’m also a BAG (a Born Again Greek) in that I was not raised Greek but I learned the language in my 30’s and joined the church and I am into all thing Hellenic.  I am a devoted husband and father to two adorable girls and I have an almost unhealthy interest in playing and watching tennis.
